Education

The Western Cape Museum Educator Group has compiled school programmes from some of our members in and around Cape Town to help teachers plan CAPS-linked school outings. This was in response to teachers requesting this information collated in one place. We will update and expand these offerings annually as more of our members contribute. Below is an overview of the contributing members and their offerings.

Who is The Western Cape Museum Educator Group?

We are a group of educators who work in museums, heritage sites, environmental sites, science centres and other non-traditional educational organisations in and around Cape Town. Since 2010 we have met regularly to network, share expertise and challenges, and learn about new ideas in our field. Membership is free and administration is done by volunteers from within the group.
